Artworker needed – maternity cover!

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Artworker, ideally with an advertising background, to join our creative team to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, creative studio environment supporting a wide range of client projects.

Location: Bath
Start date: 29 June
Contract: Initial 6‑month contract
Salary: £30,000 pro rata
Hours: Ideally full-time; minimum three days per week considered (pro rata salary)
Working arrangement: Office-based role (no remote working)

The Role

Working within our creative team, you will play a key role in ensuring client artwork is delivered to the highest standard, seeing projects through from initial concepts to final production. The ability to work quickly, accurately with meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and support the creative team to follow designs and artwork from their conception to final sign-off
  • Correct and format advert and document artwork prior to printing
  • Ensure work is consistent, accurate and follows any brand guidelines
  • Adapt existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats
  • Coding up artwork to the order specification provided
  • Ensuring all artwork accuracy by completing detailed and thorough checks on every ad that comes through the studio under a stringent proofing process.

Essential Experience & Technical Skills

  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Additional Skills (Desirable)

  • Working knowledge of Mailchimp
  • Experience of Figma
  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Website visual design
  • Social media post design, implementation and management
