Well, kind of. We decided earlier this year that AJ’s charity of 2024 will be the wonderful Jessie May – Children’s Hospital at Home. Being a top advertising agency isn’t enough for us, we also know how important it is to support the wider community. We’ve worked with many charities over the years and we’re well aware of the vital work they do across the spectrum so we’re pleased to be able to use our creative talents to support them.
We’re excited to announce that we will be putting our advertising, marketing, creative, copywriting and promotional skills to good use to produce a cookbook. Alongside recipes from top Bath chefs and restaurants the book will contain family favourites from AJ staff, Jessie May families and people directly involved with the charity.
It’s difficult to imagine a more important or worthwhile cause than Jessie May. Founded in 1996 by Chris and Philippa Purrington following the death of their daughter Jessica May at just four months old, Jessie May provides specialist nursing care for terminally ill children in their own homes. The charity has helped over 300 families across the South West, providing end of life care and bereavement support alongside respite sessions and emotional care.
AJ are donating our time and we will cover the print cost of the first 100 books. We’re well aware we’ve got a huge challenge ahead of us but we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves. Stay tuned for more updates and information about how you can get your hands on a copy!
