
We are always striving to develop our agency so are delighted that this year’s Campaign School Report recognises AJ’s growth. It also highlights our commitment to continuously improving our business. We have jumped up to 41 from last year’s 48 in the National Media Agencies ranking. And we have held our 14th place in the top 30 Regional Agencies too. It’s an incredible achievement for an independent agency in such a competitive field and we are thrilled to be recognised as a tour de force in our industry.
Official recognition is great but we’ve more to offer
Although pleased with AJ’s growth in turnover, because we are always looking to improve we place greater value on the growth of our clients. Many clients have been with us for years – it is rare for us to lose a client. We pride ourselves in working closely with them and growing businesses together. We’re often seen as an extension of a client’s own media team.
We are also proud of the growth of our own team. Advertising is a people business and our strength lies in the talent of our team. Many have been with us for over 5 years and again, it is rare for team members to move on. Once they’ve discovered the AJ way – that of collaboration and mutual respect – it’s easy to stay!
It doesn’t matter if we’re ranked number 1 or number 100 if our clients aren’t happy
We’re a “service first” agency. A huge key to AJ’s growth is our successful relationships with our clients. When approaching a new business, our first question is always “how can we make a difference?”. We’re always looking to improve businesses and we see opportunities rather than challenges. If something is working, we don’t rest on our laurels. If something isn’t working, we don’t stop until we’ve exhausted every possible solution. We’re always looking at how we can improve, whether it’s a client’s advert creative or our own internal processes.
